Channing Tatum is an actor who isn’t afraid to use his physicality to good effect. Whether that be dancing in movies like Step Up and Magic Mike or doing the gross stunt he had to do in his upcoming movie The Lost City. The movie features Sandra Bullock as the best-selling writer of a series of romance novels and Tatum as the cover model. When Bullock ends up being kidnapped to the jungle, they’ll have to work together to get out.
The stunt in question involved a naked Channing Tatum and some fake leeches. Apparently, Tatum had to have some fake leeches glued to his butt for a comedic gag in the movie. Not only that, but he also had to be completely naked for the scene. Sandra Bullock is certainly professional, but shooting multiple scenes opposite a naked co-star with fake leeches on their butt has to be distracting, to say the least.
The Lost City is an action-adventure comedy movie that is directed by Aaron and Adam Nee. The screenplay was written by Oren Uziel, Dana Fox, and Adam Nee. In addition to Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock in the lead roles, the movie also features Daniel Radcliffe, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, Raymond Lee, and more.
Interestingly enough, the movie also will have a cameo from Brad Pitt, who apparently partially inspired Channing Tatum’s look in the movie. If you haven’t seen the trailer, Tatum is in full romance-novel mode as Alan aka “Dash” who has a long, flowing wig of blonde hair. Sandra Bullock plays Loretta Sage, who created the character of Dash in her novels called “The Lost City of D.” Interested in finding the treasure of that Lost City is Daniel Radcliffe’s character. Radcliffe is playing the villain of the movie, a billionaire who kidnaps Bullock to help him seek out the supposed fortune. You even get to see a glimpse of Pitt in the trailer too.
The movie definitely looks like it’s going to be a good time, with both Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum finding themselves in a situation they’re not ready to handle. While we’re waiting for The Lost City to come out, you can check out Bullock’s latest role in the Netflix film The Unforgivable, where she gets to flex her dramatic muscles. That movie didn’t do so well with critics, but the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is sitting at a respectable 74%. As for Channing Tatum, you can check out his latest role on the Apple TV show The Afterparty. Tatum also has a lot in the chamber for 2022 in beyond. In addition to The Lost City, he has the movie Dog coming out and his supposedly final outing as Mike in Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
