See The Terrifying And Incredibly Expensive Venom And Carnage Statue You Can Now Own
This article is more than 2 years old
Ever want to adorn your nightstand with one of the most terrifying characters to ever come out of the pages of a comic book? Well, you are about to get your chance. And not only is it about the weirdest thing you could ever put in your bedroom, it’s also super expensive. Kind of your classic win-win situation with this one. Queen Studios is now selling collectible busts of Venom and Carnage from Sony’s Venom Let There Be Carnage. Now you can have an evil symbiote or two staring at you as you drift off into the sweet, sweet hellscape of sleep.
The two-plus foot (29 inches) tall statue is of Carnage and is incredibly realistic looking where the character is concerned. In a menacing red hue, the symbiote is in full fight mode as part of the bust is of the head with the mouth open wide and the razor teeth there for all to see. There are a number of other finite details as part of this statue including the cartilage-looking pieces flying all akimbo and the tong sticking out in one of the grosser representations you are likely to see. The statue is available on the Queen Studios website and will run you a cool $1410 dollars when it is all said and done.
Queen Studios also has a Venom bust for sale on its website and this one is practically coming free compared to the Carnage one. It’s only going to run you $1290 not including shipping. Both are available for preorder. For under three thousand dollars you can bookend your bed (or desk, or living room, whatever) with two of Sony’s most terrifying-looking characters. The attention to detail is, of course, the main draw here with both statues carrying completely realistic appearances where the characters are concerned. The only real downside is that they are currently only available in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and South Korea. So this might cost you the plane flight as well. Check out the Venom and Carnage statues in all their glory.
These Venom and Carnage statues are selling on the heels of Venom Let There Be Carnage coming to the big screen back in September. The long-delayed movie hit a number of pandemic-related snags along the way which pushed the release back more than a year. But when it finally did come out, it was another big hit for Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The movie took in more than $440 million at the box office. It was a solid follow-up to the somewhat surprising success of 2018s Venom which scored more than $856 million worldwide. The Tom Hardy starrer got a second go around and this time Woody Harrelson joined the cast as Cletus Kassady, who is “infected” and eventually becomes Carnage.
Perfect for a kid’s birthday present or gift on a friend’s wedding day, the Venom and Carnage statues are for the real fans out there who also have pretty strong constitutions. But if those aren’t your speed, Queen Studios has plenty of other options with Captain America, Black Widow, and Iron Man all up for grabs as well.
