It’s either the smoking gun of Spider-Man speculation, or it’s just a sign that some people are really good at photo editing. On Monday night, photos showed up on Twitter of what appears to be Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland together and all dressed in their respective Spidey costumes on the set of the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. For good measure, Charlie Cox appears in a photo as well, as his Netflix Marvel character Matt Murdock.

The photos originally appeared on the Twitter feed of John Campea. The YouTuber originally said he thought the photos were faked, but reportedly took them down once he was convinced the images of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could be real. Of course, by the time he took them down, the images had already spread, complete with Campea’s watermark on them. You can see the photos below, reposted by the Portugese fan page Legado da Marvel.

There are two photos in total, but the biggest and potentially jaw-dropping reveal comes in the first photo with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man standing side by side, and Tom Holland standing behind them. All three appear bloodied from a recent fight — which, considering the growing number of confirmed villains in the film, would make sense — and Garfield seems to be speaking to someone. In the second photo, Charlie Cox appears as Matt Murdock, sitting at a table with Holland’s Peter Parker, Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), and May Parker (Marisa Tomei).

So are the photos real? There’s no way to know until they’re confirmed by either Sony and/or Marvel, or until the movie hits theaters in a little over a month. At least one fan, however, is convinced they’re genuine. The Twitter fan account, the Tobey Maguire FanClub, posted some comparison photos. They note that Holland’s battle damage make-up looks the same in the leaked photo and an official set photo. They also highlight a spot on the railing behind Andrew Garfield that looks similar to a railing from the supposedly leaked video footage of Garfield from No Way Home last month. You can see their comparisons below.

At the end of October, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said he was concerned with how fan expectation was building for things like the rumored appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Feige told Empire magazine he wanted “people to be excited about the movie they get, and not disappointed about a movie they don’t get.” It’s easy to see what Feige means. At this point, it seems tough to imagine fans will accept anything short of both Maguire and Garfield showing up as their respective movie universes’ versions of Spider-Man.

It won’t be too long before we know for sure exactly how many Spider-Men appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film, directed by Jon Watts, is set to release in theaters Friday, December 17. While we can neither confirm nor deny that it stars Tobey Maguire and/or Andrew Garfield, we definitely expect to see Tom Holland return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Thomas Haden Church as Sandman, and Rhys Ifans as the Lizard.
