Marvel Just Deleted A Major X-Men Spoiler From The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier might have let slip a major X-Men spoiler.

The hit Disney+ Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is four episodes into its six-episode run. While fans are still trying to figure Marvel’s end goal with the limited series, it appears major hints as to what may be coming in the final two were removed from a website that has been linked to the series and could hint at the first introduction of the X-Men.
According to insider Mikey Sutton and his website Geekosity, the website Explore Madripoor may possibly have held clues from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that Marvel wasn’t prepared to divulge, causing the website to delete said information. For those of you who are not aware of what Madripoor is, well it is a fictional island that is located in Southeast Asia, that has its main roots tied to Marvel’s X-Men. The island was introduced all the way back in 1985 and popular X-Men Wolverine used the island as his stomping ground. Back then, Wolverine was in disguise calling himself Patch, since his disguise was basically just an eye-patch.
Per Sutton, he says that the YouTube channel Everything Always has been monitoring the Explore Madripoor site and that Marvel removed references to the mutant Mystique and of the sentient island of Krakoa. Is it possible that Marvel accidentally jumped the gun by including Mystique and Krakoa on the website in connection to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? Of course, it’s possible. As for the island of Madripoor, it was the location of choice on the third episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, titled Power Broker. In it, Bucky and Sam continue their hunt for the Super Soldier Serum with the help of Zemo (Daniel Brühl). They help Zemo escape from prison so he can help them track down the serum. While on the island, they first have to deal with a bunch of low-lifes before joining forces with an old ally, Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp reprising her role).
Jennifer Lawrence has played Mystique in numerous X-Men movies that include X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, and for the last time in the 2019 dud, X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has only two episodes remaining so is Marvel daring enough to bring Lawrence in as the very first X-Men to be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? They definitely have the cash and sway to make it happen but is it the smart move? According to Sutton, there has to be a firm reason as to why Marvel decided to delete the X-Men references from the website.
Back to Sutton again, he feels that Krakoa may be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first X-Men movie, claiming that Marvel President “Kevin Feige wants an all-new, all-different approach, at least somewhat, compared to what Fox did for so long.”
It’ll be interesting to see what plays out over the final two episodes. It would also be interesting if Marvel uses The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to lay the groundwork for their eventual X-Men movie.
