Han Solo will always be one of the most beloved and integral characters of the Star Wars universe. He was popular enough to anchor his own feature film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and was played by young actor Alden Ehrenreich. However, that movie failed to light a fire at the box office, and many fans have been wondering whether or not we would see Ehrenreich take on the iconic smuggler once again. Well, it turns out that he will be back as the character and we know exactly how he will be making his return.
Our trusted inside source – the same one who gave us our confirmed scoop about Josh Brolin returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos – has discovered that Han Solo will be making his return in some of the upcoming Star Wars shows, and that will include a series that is centered around the smuggler himself. Alden Ehrenreich will be returning to the role so don’t expect any CG face replacement like The Mandalorian recently did with Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
From what we have gathered, it sounds like there are some big plans for Han Solo moving forward. We can confirm that We Got This Covered’s report about a show that focuses on Qi’ra and Darth Maul is part of this plan and that Alden Ehrenreich will appear in that series as well. It is possible that this could end up being the setup for Han Solo’s own series. We also believe that there might be some teasers or connections pop up in both The Book of Boba Fett and the eventual Lando series that was announced.
