Gal Gadot will be back at her role as DC superheroine Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman 1984 – whenever we might see that – and Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the new edit of the 2017 superhero team-up film coming to HBO Max in 2021. It’s a good time to be a fan of the Amazonian hero, and a new photo showcases her in front of the most iconic vehicle in all of comic book lore.

It looks like this shot of Gal Gadot in front of the Batmobile is a still from the original production of Justice League. Director of photography Fabian Wagner is listed as the cinematographer for the upcoming re-edit of the film, so it is possible we could be seeing some other on-set pictures from him after the reshoots are underway.
Gal Gadot is currently at the center of attention because of the questions surrounding Wonder Woman 1984. The superhero tentpole film was originally scheduled to release in June of this year, but various pushbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic now have it slated for a Christmas Day release. However, Warner Bros. Studios is reportedly wondering if they are going to release the movie in what ever theaters are open and then dump it onto the streaming platform HBO Max a few weeks later.
It is also worth speculating how prominent Gal Gadot will be in the upcoming reshoots for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. We know that she is one of the confirmed stars that are coming back for the reshoots, but now we are hearing that those reshoots may only add a very small amount of material to the overall project. How much more Wonder Woman will we be getting once Zack Snyder’s Justice League is said and done?
There is no question that it is a tumultuous time for Gal Gadot. Not only are her DC superhero projects causing lots of hubbub, but another movie of hers was just pulled from the release schedule entirely and might be going straight to video-on-demand. Death on the Nile was also set to release in theaters this December, but Disney yanked it off the calendar and has yet to announce a new release date. And as the linked article discusses, the Mouse House might forego a theatrical release for the murder-mystery sequel and put it on streaming rental services instead.
With all of this hullabaloo surrounding Gal Gadot, it is nice to get a picture of her chilling out in front of the Batmobile. Sometimes, we just need to take a breather and enjoy the little things in life. We are sure there will be more wild Gal Gadot news coming our way soon, but let’s take a moment to find a little solace in this fun behind-the-scenes snapshot. And let’s hope we will all be able to see Wonder Woman 1984 as soon as possible and as safely as possible.
